Visit and updates....Remembering friends....

Hello everyone, as you know we have had visitors for the last three days and these visitors have been our good friend's Eric and Flynn's mum and dad Jackie and Ivor. They have had a good time and the visit has helped Jackie relax a little before her surgery. Mum and dad took them to see Haworth and York and they went out in the evening for some good food, drinks and laughter. They did though all give me lots of love and cuddles too.I will show you some pictures of the visit. They are all jumbled up because mum mixed them up when putting them on. Sheesh...

First though we are joining in this weekend in remembering our furrends that have left us for the rainbow bridge in a weekend of remembrance. Friends : Kashim, Othello and Salome are hosting this and have all the details on their blog.

I remember all our furrends that have left us for the bridge and especially Sweet Praline who left so recently... Remembering all who are suffering in the USA with the terrible weather. All who suffered so terrible in the earthquakes. There are far too many names to remember individually so I light a candle for all..

I enjoyed the visit and all the attention...here I am guarding the plague rat that they bought for me. I got a bag full of goodies as well..

In Haworth this laid back kitty was happy to have his photo taken and was obviously so used to a lot of people ...His name was Billie..

The people asked for donates to take pictures and it was all for a local cat shelter so of course the mums and dads were happy to do that..

Jackie gave him ear skritches but he didn't wake up..

Here I am getting ear skritches from both dad and Ivor...

In Haworth...

I had to pose for lots of photo's and I humoured them...

Mum and Jackie were pleased with this one because I leaned right in to Jackie and gave her some purrs...

They put Ivor in the stocks in York...

More cuddles....

Still more....

They had fun and games putting the camera on the timer and trying to get me to cooperate for a group picture..

Another at Haworth...

The mums tossed the dads in prison at York..

This very old outside toilet made them smile and the mums tested it out for size..

There were lots of baby feathers at york all being watched over by proud parents who hissed when the beans got too close..

More fun in the York castle museum..

More baby feathers..

Now for an update on me... I have been eating... Not back to normal but eating on my own. Mum and dad got some small tins of Stinky goodness in a pate form and I ate it during the course of the day. When they came in and saw my empty dish there was cheers from all. Eric and Flynn's mum brought me treats and I ate some of those each day too. They are really hoping that this is the real turning point now. When the mums and dads got up on a morning I was asking for food, so another good sign,. I eat small amounts but go back to it on my own.

We had a really lovely visit from Eric and Flynn's mum and it did all of us some good. Come back soon and see us.

Mum will catch up when she can... Love and hugs to all.. GJ xxxx

Time out....

Hello everyone, I may not be around for a couple days because we are having visitors to come stay with us. Our visitors are Eric and Flynn's mum and dad. Their dad wanted to take their mum away for a little while to rest up before her surgery and he is bringing her here to us. Mum and dad are going to take them to see the sights around and will I think be too busy to blog. So don't worry and I will see you soon.

Mum didn't want to go without letting you know how I am going. I am getting the medicine and am eating a little with dad's help. Thank you so much for all your loving comments as they mean so much.

I will be going to my friends Milo and Alfie's on Friday because they are having a party for the royal wedding, so if not before see you then. Hugs GJ xx

A dads love.......Update for my sweet friend...

I am updating my post because I heard that my darling girlfriend Sweet Praline has left for the bridge. I am sending much love to her mum Paula as I know she will be heartbroken, but she gave her little girl the ultimate act of love and let her go when it was time. We will so miss you sweet darling.

Last night dad chopped up some stinky goodness really small and tried to feed me from a spoon, he was there for ages and ages just trying me with little bits at a time from the spoon. I ate some too. dad wanted to cheer.

Sorry the pics are a bit blurred but mum used her phone so as not to distract me. The trick didn't work this morning but dad will try again later.

I think mum has told you before that when she met dad she had me and my sister Dollycat, dad said he wasn't a cat person but knew we came as a package. I think I can safely say now, that dad is indeed a cat person and I have him wrapped around my paw. dad says he was misinformed about cats and never knew that they could be as loving etc.

Love GJ xx

Love at Easter.....

Hello everyone.. Wishing all my friends a very Happy Easter.
I have been getting lots of loving, chin and ear skritches and cuddles..
I hope you are all having a good Easter and I send love your way.

Ear skritches are the best....

Can you see where they stole my bloods from.

Mum and dad thought we had really turned a corner but it seems it was premature because I have not been eating at all well. I go to the dish if dad puts me there and sometimes I eat a small amount and then no more. Mum is beginning to despair as to what to do. They started me back on the medicine and will see if that helps. What on earth is wrong, we wish we knew.. One thing is certain we wont stop until we do find out . Love to all. GJ x

Wildlife at Easter and updates.....

Hello everyone I thought I would show you a few pictures that mum's friend e -mailed to her. The little duck turned up in the next garden to mums friend, which was a complete surprise as they are not too near the water. Take a look at the near Easter surprise..

A Mummy duck was hiding .....

Some of these.....

Awwww...

After a while she led them off in the direction of a local park...

Mum's friend just hoped they all got there safely.. What a lovely surprise to find in the garden at Easter time....

Now to me. Yesterday I didn't eat so well. Not much at all in fact.Mum cooked me a chicken breast and I ate a little but not a lot else. This morning I have eaten a small amount of stinky goodness and mum hopes I will go back for some more. It seems as though, if dad picks me up and takes me to a dish I eat a little. They are so wondering if I forget. Forget where my food is or forget to eat. It is a worrying puzzle that we need to solve. Hugs GJ xx

( As mum types this for me, dad shouted to her that I am eating a little more )

Love to all GJ xx

A very mixed day....

Today has been a very mixed day. Firstly we found out last night that our friends Eric and Flynn's mum is sick and has to have an operation. We are so sad at this news and send so much love and purrs to them as they fight this. I know that their mum will beat this because she has the power of the paw behind her and that is mighty powerful. we are right behind you Jackie and send so much love. You can send some too by visiting here: Eric and Flynn

Then we got a surprise visit from the beans which brought a little cheer to us, although they are into everything and my toys were all over the place. Dad even had to mend my turbo track. I went in the yard but they were right behind me..
Nicholas bean was saying come down Jasper...

Leon bean was wanting to stroke me... I wanted to play smacky paw...

They were playing hide and seek with the clean washing mol......

Look at Nicholas smile...

Before they came mum and dad went to see the vet, they left me at home so as not to stress me up again. the vet asked how I was doing and they said I am eating some things and drinking milk. Not as much as I should but eating none the less. The vet said to carry on with tempting and coaxing and to see how I go. They are optimistic that all will be well eventually, so all in all a very mixed day of sadness, happiness and optimism.. Love to you all.. GJ xxx

Dad is so........ Sheesh....

I was sat on the bin minding my own business... when along came Dad who was making sure I was ok... Yes I am fine dad I am just checking around...
Really dad... I am OK....
Sheesh now he wants to play....
I have to humour dad because he is worried about me... But sheesh.....
I ate some corned beef, prawns and drank cat milk but no stinky goodness. Mum and dad were going to have two or three days away for Easter but have decided they cant leave me yet because things are still fragile with the eating so they may just go out for a day at a time, then they can make sure I eat something. A funny thing is dad has found that if he picks me up and takes me to food I eat a little and he repeats this several times, dad is convinced I forget the food is there. Mum has been overdoing it a little so is just slowing down for a while. We so appreciate all our friends and love you all for being here. Hugs GJ xx
