Thanks and an update.............

Hello everyone. I wanted to say thank you for all the prayers, purrs, woofs and good wishes and to give you an update. Liam still remains a very poorly young man but there have been lots of ups and downs during the last few days.
Liam has been to theatre several times for various thing, plates and pins in broken bones and to try and seal his eye's from infection and to remove any remaining glass. One of the biggest fears is that the sight will be gone from the eye's as that is what tests were showing could be a big possibility. Day before yesterday they were going to have to put Liam back on the ventilator as his lung just wouldn't work properly. The news yesterday was that there was slight improvement in that department and that Liam was able to tell the doctors that he could see from his left eye. The right eye still remains a problem. But for the fist time in a long week there is some positive news and that is a good good thing. We want to say a huge THANK YOU because we know how much the power of the paw does to help. There is a long way to go yet but hopefully with a lot of help it can be done..
Hugs to all GJ xxxx

Thank you for keeping us posted on Liam's condition. We are continuing to pray our very hardest for his recovery. He is able to be conscious, ( no coma) , he can speak, hear and has at least some vision. And he told the doctors he could see and that means he can understand and think! All good things ! All steps forward! All of us and all of our prayers are with him on his long road to recovery. If there is any way we can help either him or his folks, just let us know.
