The prayers are working.......

Well everyone what a week this has been, with many ups and downs. The news today is much more positive with Liam. he was moved from the ICU and on to a high dependency unit where he remained poorly but much improved. Yesterday he was moved to yet another ward and is again much improved. The physios yesterday got Liam out of bed and although the effort and pain made him sick it was indeed a huge improvement. the doctors said that when someone young started to improve they usually do so quite quickly and this we are hoping will be the case. There will be many more operations, especially on Liam's right eye but a lot of the other injuries are starting to heal. the lung is very much improved, as is the swelling round the heart. Liam still cant see anything but vague shapes from his right eye but the doctors are hopeful that when the trauma settles they can try to do something about that, they just say it wont be a quick fix and they need to wait until it settles down. So all in all this is a very positive report, especially when two weeks ago they were fearful that he would survive. .. The power of paws and friendship is working again. Thank you all so much....
Mum is also back at work and it has been quite difficult.the posts of my trip were of course postponed, so now mum will show you some. the first one's are of when I visited the Hemingway cats at Key West. They were so lovely and curious to meet me...
It was very hot and I chilled for a while in the grounds...

Saying hello.....
Just look at those toes....

Having a chat.......

Curious as to who the stranger was....

There was a sign up saying please don't pick the cats up.. This little one had other ideas and jumped up for some cuddles and loving..Mum was delighted...

He really took to dad....

settled for some loving....

So cute.......

Hope you liked seeing a few of the Hemingway cats..

Mum has missed visiting friends and will get back to it asap..

Thank you so much for all the kind messages..

Much love GJ xxxxx
