Retirement day has arrived.....

On Monday last I was asked to go up to work and there was a presentation for me. Emotional....

                                   Firstly with my manager...Beautiful flowers..
                                              Managers from Elderly Services..

The CEO of the company. presented me as well..

The gorgeous flowers and a beautiful crystal vase to put them in..
My last two shifts were this weekend, friends passed and present popped in to see me and spoil me with gifts too..
A poem was read and that made me very emotional. I will scan it and show you it later.

                                  Tears and laughter too..

                                    Gifts for inside ...

 For outside too...

I have never seen a lovely Yankee candle turned from this to..

A gorgeous fragranced lamp. What a lovely idea and how pretty. I have never seen this before..

A very emotional time, but I am ready and now a new era begins..

Lots of lovely photo's from our fabulous trip when I get the chance to sort them. LOvely sloth's and more.     Soon....

Congratulations on your retirement! Time for yourself and time to do the things you want to do...at last!
Imagine. You'll actually get to sleep at night...every night! You should be very proud of your wonderful career. And remember you've only resigned from your position, you'll always be a nurse.

Oh my what a day of great love and some sorrow. I know we look forward to the big day (I know I am) but we will also miss all our dear friends. We have all moved to work at home so it the office is very different. Make sure you keep in touch with those friends of a lifetime!
