A new neighbour, flowers and a 40's.....

A mixed lot for you to see today and hope you like them.
Next door have a new addition. A little girl kitty called Suki. At first she was very timid and now she comes to visit. These are taken in our yard..

I think maybe GJ will approve of this pretty girl visiting us. What do you think..

We pass a house just around the corner almost every day and we see this little one usually sat just outside with either the man or lady of the house. Today we stopped to talk and I held him for ages. He is very friendly and loves to be outside his door with his family .He is called Bubbles.
They also have two cats and they are both scared of Bubbles and stay clear of him.
Look at this cheeky tongue sticking out..

I know I have showed you many pics before of our yard but at the moment it is blooming so lovely. We call it our little suburban haven.. This basket had another of the huge fuchsias and they are gorgeous.

Jasper's little part of the yard..
Barrie loves to sit here and have his morning coffee..

A closer look at the fuchsia.
We bought a new ornament, a little birdbath which  think is so cute. On the way home with it we damaged the tail. Barrie will hopefully mend it for me..

Yesterday we were at another 40's event in the beautiful Yorkshire dales.

Dancing in the street.. Its always fun.

Look a this cheeky chappy keeping guard.

                                     During the re-enactment.
                                                 More dancing.
A  beautiful place for the event and although a small village its always popular..
This weekend was of course the Tour De France and there were so many yellow bikes that we saw on the way. This one was fun with all the flowers..
                              Outside a restaurant..
                                   A family of bikes...
Hope you enjoyed a little look at our weekend...
Hugs Carol x

Suki is a beautiful ladycat! We're sure Jasper would approve of her being in his yard which, by the way, looks beautiful this summer! Bubbles is a very interesting looking birdie! We'd be scared of him too!

You and Barrie always look like you're having such a great time at those 40 events! It's fun to see your photos! You both look wonderful in your outfits!

Suki is adorable! We can see why those kitties would give Bubbles a bit of a wide berth, just in case. And the two of you in your 40s finery look pawesome!

We think Jasper wholeheartedly approves! See those ginger patches on Suki's coat? They're a sign- Jasper's seal of approval. Kitties stopping by his beautiful garden for a moments rest is a perfect remembrance. The garden, full of life, a perfect tribute.
You both look so marvelous in 40's dress. The portrait of you, Carol, is just amazing. You're so beautiful! We agree the photo should be framed.
The lovely black kitty with the little white toes can stop by our hous any day.

The bird looks so smooth and colourful, he barely seems real. I like how the cats are afraid of him...

The garden looks so lovely, and we always enjoy seeing you in your 40s clothing! Bubbles is stunning -- such colors -- but how funny we that the two cats are afraid!
