On Christmas Eve, Glogirly had a wonderful giveaway on her blog. It was for a lovely Alice Hannah set of Scarf, gloves and hat. A beautiful soft grey wool with a gorgeous cat design on it. Well I was so thrilled to receive a e mail telling me I had won it. I gave my details and in double quick time it arrived. It was packed in a lovely pink bag which is ideal for storing the set safely. It really is beautiful quality and so soft. I have taken pictures but they don't do it as much justice as the pictures on Glogirly's blog because as much as anything the lovely Waffles is helping model them. You can find that Here
Today Barrie and I went for a ride out to Whitby. It was a lovely day but really cold so the ideal time to try the set out. They kept me toasty and warm and so soft and comfortable to wear.
Not sure if I wore the hat the right way but Barrie said it looked fine so hopefully so.
Barrie was warm in his beanie hat too lol
The hat was on differently as I took it off when we ate lunch.
We never tire of going to Whitby and love walking around there.
I went to look at the web site for Alice Hannah and guess what they have a sale, I ended up ordering the fingerless gloves to match and the rather cute long scarf with a cat head and tail on the end. Also a lovely vintage collar that will go on one of my 40's dresses. All really reasonably priced. So the giveaway led to more lol. You can see their lovely things Here Well worth a look.

An excellent prize, and timely, too. I've never seen street scenes from Whitby, though I've seen panoramic views of the town. It looks cosy and friendly; obviously, a nice place.
