Long weekend....
Its been a heck of a few days. I have just finished a run of early shifts which are my least favourite as I find 5:00 am starts so tiring. Put with that below freezing temps and scraping ice from the car before I leave and it gets worse. So yes a tiring few days but...... Look what my gorgeous plant has done..
Isn't it coming on nicely and the blooms just make me smile when I pass by it. Do you see it Flynn...

Such a beautiful plant to brighten up the dreary days.
Crocuses! They are Mommy's favorite flower! We will be seeing them in the store soon and we will has some at our house. They don't grows too good here and we has a small clump that will come up in April, but when wes lived on Vancouver Island, wes had yellow,purple and white ones grown in the back lawn and the yard was fence to fence flowers!

Well, you lucky in a flower sense - we can't grow those out here in California and my human is a little sad about that because she loves them, and tulips too, which also don't do well here.
I miss tender flowers like those! I agree, getting up early is awful; I'd rather work nights. 5 AM is just wrong!

Just beautiful! Spring flowers in the midst of winter always seem lift our spirits. They're natures promise of better days to come.
