It did it again...
5 years ago today Mum's mum left for the bridge. There is never a day that mum does not think of her. Mum brought her Christmas cactus back to our house and every year it never fails to flower for this date and again at Christmas. Mum saw the buds coming and knew it was not failing her. Grandma is still sending a sign that she is around us.
I am on my window again and today has been a calm day.

That is just so special and sweet. Mom says she has no idea what her Christmas Cacti will do this year as they have all been tucked away in a bedroom during all the renovations. Time will tell. Sometimes they do best when Mom neglects them:)
