Hi everyone
,
yesterday mum and dad were on the way home on the motorway when the signs said slow 30 miles per hour. the the traffic came to a stop and everyone was putting hazard lights on. Mum said oh no looks like a accident
. Thankfully it wasn't so and was quite amusing to look at but oh my it could have been so catastrophic. there was a police car, traffic control van and a policeman walking alongside. All shepherding a small herd of cows that had escaped. They were ambling along with the police forming an escort. I cant think where they were going to get them off the motorway. I am just so glad that it was a safe conclusion because it could have been terrible..
Hope you are all having a good Sunday.....
Love and hugs to all... GJ xx

Mum would love to have seen the cows on the motorway - that's one way to slow the traffic down!

Are ya smellin the purty pink flowers?
I guess cows have guardian angels, too. You look very sweet, GJ.
GJ, great cow story! I'm glad it was a happy ending and they found their way home.
You make such a pretty pic next to the flowers!

You are a very beautiful cat Ginger! Cows, huh.. I can't digest cow milk properly, most cats can't.

Silly cows! We wonder where they escaped from.
Having cows in the road is strange to my city neighbors, but I was raised in the country. If we found cows in the road, we tried to get them into a pasture and then let all the neighbors know where to look!
Hi Oh Fluffy One. We're glad the cows were ok. We love cows and see them on our walks and when they are in the paddock next to our house. Beautiful photo of you too mate. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
Cool cows! MOL
You are looking mighty handsome, GJ.
GJ, that was an interesting cow story. And we're so glad they were steered in the right direction. So glad no hooman was hurt either.

Last week when dad took mum out for her birthday, the signs on the motorway were lit up too and said "Animals on road" with a 30mph speed limit. They didn't see the animals so they must have walked up the motorway all the way up North to where you live!
That is a lovely photo of you with the flowers.
That was a very slow stampede! Love ya GJ!
We hope those silly cows got home okay!
GJ, we are so glad there was a happy ending. Just last week here a truck filled with cows had an unfortunate thing happen. Someone forgot to properly latch the back of the truck and several cows fell out as the truck moved down the road. Sadly a number of the cows did not survive:(
We made a small donation to the Zoolatry fund, we are all so hoping for some good news.

We love your header (sorry, you may have had it a while, but we haven't been around much lately). Do you have miles per hour there? I thought it might have been kilometers! At least it was nothing serious.
Cow parade! hee hee!
We don't have cows here but we did in our last home. They used to break into the garden every week!
Wow! A cow parade!!!!
Have a delicious week!
