Flying the flag.....

Hi everyone. As you will know it is our queen's diamond jubilee. 60 years as queen of our country. That is a great achievement and we are very proud of our queen. We have shown our patriotism in a small way by covering our little house and flying the flag..
                                                       The front of the house...

                                                        The back....
I am just glad I didn't get to wear a union jack ...
                                                         Checking my street....

Mum and dad ready for the charity night at the pub...

                                                      In the pub....

                                                        Mum's little bit of fun....
                                                       Dad's too....

Also on Jubilee day, the 5th is our Tristan bean's birthday..
Because mum is working they went to lunch yesterday..

                                                  Happy Birthday Tristan bean...

Hope you liked our little part of the jubilee celebrations...
The rain so far has done its best to spoil the celebrations but I think people are not letting it spoil things and yesterday the river pageant was magnificent and lots more to come. we are very proud of our queen and country....
                                                            Love and hugs to all..
                                                                    GJ xxx
Mums back to the grindstone now for next few days...

We are back to add that it is hug your cat day.. Mum forgot and how could she. Dad is hugging me in a picture above and here  I am with mum... Hugs your cats and woofies extra more today... GJ xxx

That is such an awesome thing to celebrate. We're fans of the British royalty, even though we're American kittehs.

The Jubilee is a once-in-a-lifetime occasion (or more accurately once-in-many-lifetimes)!
We get lots of coverage of it here in Canada. I truly admire our Queen.

It's great seeing you all be so patriotic.

I did a LOL of GJ and his Dad which might imply otherwise -- but it's all in fun, of course.
