Vet visit.............

Hello everyone.. Today I have been to the dreaded vet. I saw the boss man today and he was very nice.... I have a bad cold and he said that as what I am sneezing is clear it will hopefully work its way out and antibiotics wont help that. I did get an injection though of anti inflammatory. The worst thing is that when he felt at my tummy he said I have solid stuff in my intestines. I haven't past any poo for two days so it looks like the fur has got stuck there. I was going to be booked in for anaesthetic tomorrow to have an enema but mum asked could they not move it without because she is worried about another anaesthetic. The vet man gave me some stuff to take and I have another appointment tomorrow.Mum is watching my litter tray and hoping I go, if not then I have to go in. I was doing so well and had put on lots of weight and then the nasty fur does this. Hopefully it can be sorted asap. Keep those purrs coming please .. Hugs GJ xx

We're glad that your cold is nothing to worry about.

The mum read a while back about a special paste for cats that helps reduce hairballs. she'll see if she can find out what it was.

We hope you GO, GJ!

If not, would a baby enema work? When Derry got stopped up (because of a food change) back in March, the vet gave him a baby enema (what they use for human babies). It's just a little squirt up the bum and it worked within minutes. Not sure if it would work for you, but it's worth asking about.

Oh GJ! That sounds very unpleasant...

#1 wanted to mention that TOWCB, Ikkyu, once had terrible intestinal blockage and the issue was eventually resolved with injections of a drug called Estocelan.

Have you tried petroleum jelly? Just a pea sized bit on the roof of the mouth works wonders for furball elimination.

Hi GJ

We are with you in this. My bruffer Megat had an enema before and that was no fun fur him. He had to get a bath after that which he did not like. We hope you would be able to get rid of the fur real soon.

Hey GJ...to keep from going through the enemas if you keep CatLax and give to hin twice a week I promise you will see a big difference in him. Everything I've heard from you describes my Marley to a tee. We know when he quits eating that we need to give him the CatLax. It does wonders for our baby boy.The vet told us that Marley is an impeccable groomer. So all of that hair is getting stuck in his little tummy because he is such a good groomer. I Bet GJ is too. I promise this will help you out a lot and You have to do it the rest of his life too. They just feel so much better after getting that Lax in them. Ask your doctor about it. Good Luck GJ will come by tomorrow to check on you sweetie. We love you
