I am honouring today, Grandad who lost his fight. Mum a survivor for many years. Our nephew Steven who lost his fight at only 5 years old. Cousins who lost their fight far too early in their 50's. Vic our friend who is fighting now. Jan our friend who is a survivor too.Our dear friend Jackie who this year has fought that fight and won. Our many fur friends who are fighting or who have lost the fight and there have been many this past year. Just this week a family friend Mick who has lost his fight after 10 weeks in hospital.

This was beautiful Ginger, I lost my husband to cancer, my son had it, at present he is in the clear and I suppose you could say I'm phobic about the disease as I am a high risk for cervical cancer , had pre cancerous cells removed in May and have to go for a check up in Novemeber ......but I am scared.

Beautiful post and tribute. You made the mom's tears flow again. So sorry for the loss of your loved ones. We are stong and maybe just maybe some day this disease will be a thing of the past. Oh what a wonderful world that would be!
Wow, that was such a great post. We love Jaspers picture in the flowers but all the pictures were just terrific. And it is such a special in that so many people are joined together to fight this darn disease. We too are purring for all the ones still fighting the disease and for the ones gone now. We must all follow your lead, dear boy, and encourage everyone to do what ever they can to support the search for a cure! Men, women , young, old even kids, and cats and digs too: cancer does not discriminate.. In mums family there has been esophageal, gastric, skin, breast and brain cancer. And we have lost 4 of our cat brothers and sisters to this killer as well. God bless you for your love and caring.

Great post and photos. One of our close friends had testicular cancer as well but he is now in remission.
