Together we LIVESTRONG.....

Today we join in with all our friends to unite in a day when we say YES we can beat this evil that is Cancer and we can LIVESTRONG together. Last year our friends Ann of Zoolatry and Jan of Milo and Alfie got us all together and the day was brilliant with so many coming together to honour friends, family and furfriends that were battling the dreaded cancer, that had beaten it and that had fought the fight and won. This year we are all again joining in with LIVESTRONG. Please visit : WE LIVESTRONG TODAY were you will see many tributes.

I believe in HOPE that we can and will find a cure

I am honouring today, Grandad who lost his fight. Mum a survivor for many years. Our nephew Steven who lost his fight at only 5 years old. Cousins who lost their fight far too early in their 50's. Vic our friend who is fighting now. Jan our friend who is a survivor too.Our dear friend Jackie who this year has fought that fight and won. Our many fur friends who are fighting or who have lost the fight and there have been many this past year. Just this week a family friend Mick who has lost his fight after 10 weeks in hospital.

Imagine WE LIVESTRONG TODAY

Our dear friend Jackie who this year fought the battle and won... LIVESTRONG....

Together WE LIVESTRONG TODAY

And... A silly one with a serious message.. We can beat this and we must not give up trying to find a cure.. We LIVESTRONG and wear Yellow with pride..

We are all inspired with HOPE and CONVICTION that we can beat this.... LIVESTRONG today................... HUGS GJ xxxxxx

This was beautiful Ginger, I lost my husband to cancer, my son had it, at present he is in the clear and I suppose you could say I'm phobic about the disease as I am a high risk for cervical cancer , had pre cancerous cells removed in May and have to go for a check up in Novemeber ......but I am scared.
Have a lovely week-end.

We must all follow your lead, dear boy, and encourage everyone to do what ever they can to support the search for a cure! Men, women , young, old even kids, and cats and digs too: cancer does not discriminate.. In mums family there has been esophageal, gastric, skin, breast and brain cancer. And we have lost 4 of our cat brothers and sisters to this killer as well. God bless you for your love and caring.
