Hello everyone.. I wanted to let you know how I was. I was sick last night again but only a little. Mum thinks it must be fur that has upset me as I have been moulting such a lot. I usually get a hair cut once a year but because I was not well when the vet took all my fur off Mum didn't want to stress me too much. I will let mum and dad brush me on top but wont let them get near my tummy and I get awful knots. I had lots underneath and they were not nice when I moved. Dad was looking for a good clipper to try himself but didn't know which would work the best .Dad borrowed clippers from our niece who clips woofies and with mum's help took all the knots away. It is quite short because the knots were close to the skin but now they are off it will be easier to do another time and leave longer. Dad has been brushing me to try and keep my fur down but I do have a lot and there was a lot of fur when I was sick. Thank you to friends that suggested the sticky stuff to put on my paws. Mum got some today to try. Mum bought me some prawns today and I have eaten just a few so far. Mum and dad are worried that I wont eat for ages like before and are trying hard to not let that happen. I am a little less lethargic so fingers crossed that it was fur and I will feel much better soon. Its the vet otherwise..
Thanks everyone.. Hugs and love to all.. GJ xx

We're purring, GJ, that it is just all that floof in your tummy upsetting things. We hope you're enticed to eat more than a few prawns, though--you do need to keep up your energy!
Big smooches from our mom and kitty kisses from us.
GJ, I know about floof and not wanting brushing on the tummy. It's a big problem. We are purring for you to get better. Maybe there is still another hairball in there that needs to come up.
We love you, GJ! I mean ... in a manly way and all.
Play bows,
Zim
Ginger your folks sound like they are giving you such wonderful care. How could you not feel better. Purrs to you.
Oh GJ, I am so sorry you are feeling poorly. You look so sad in the previous post. I am purring for you to feel all better soon.
That hairball stuff should help you GJ. Now listen to me GJ, you just need to get better. So we are sending you tons of purrs and crossing our paws for you and have told those long eared donkeys to cross their hooves for ya. So get started eating pretty please. Keep us updated. Thanks for your kind words about Dora. I am beginning to think it was her kidneys either underdeveloped or she ate something with poison in it. Take care and get better Ginger Jasper
GJ, you had better eat those prawns or the OP Pack may have to head across the big pond and nibble on them for you:)
We hope it is just a matter of the silly furs getting into your tummy. Feel better soon, pal.

Pee Ess, we love that musice - very soothing.

We will be hoping and purraying that you will be eating and getting rid of those fur balls.
My cats have had some problems with hairballs too. The vet suggested that Marshmellow get a lions cut. Right now they haven't had any in awhile.
Marshmellow doesn't knot and loves to have his tummy brushed. Peanut has shorter hair but still sheds a lot. He likes his back brushed but forget his tummy.
Love your sweet picture today Ginger.
We are sending you lots of purrs, GJ!
We think Bella might have a similar problem when she has too much fur.
We all love you GJ and we are sending you our best purrs non-stop!!!
I want you to try to eat those prawns, OK? Hopefully all of that fur will leave your system.
Nubbin wiggles & hugs,
Oskar

Purrs to you GJ...brushing feels good...beans love to brush kitties day and night...just beg and ask for it! Have your beans tried the furminator? It really helps to pull out the undercoat hair.

Oh Honey, GJ, I didn't know you weren't well as mommy did not help me blog nor visit yesterday. I am so sorry. My mommy knows how your mom and dad feel about that eating. Kissies and purrs.
PeeEss my mommy got my tummy and chest shaved a few months ago because of knots since I won't let mommy brush me there. It's hard. I even had a few knots on my legs!
We are glad you have eaten a bit GJ, and we hope you are soon feeling much better now you have got some fur out of your tummy.I have nowhere near as much floof as you, but when I have fur in my tummy it makes me very lethargic and not want to eat.
Eric

Lizzie & 3 kitties
We haven't been getting around at all. I am so sorry you are sick. Those knots are bad stuff. Rosie just got the shaved tummy treatment. Enjoy those prawns.
GJ, we sure hope you are feeling better soon. Maybe if your mom keeps giving you that laxative stuff, it will help move that fur along! We are purring for you, buddy.
We love you, GJ. And we're purring and praying for you to get better.
Ah GJ I understand completely! It's not easy to be as floofy as we are! Purrs!
PS I just expelled a giant hairball!
Hi Ginger Jasper, do you like eating sardines. That might make you feel better. Take care fluffy. No worries (especially for you) and love, Stella and Rory
Glad there is a bit of improvement. And we are sure dad removing the itchy knotted tummy fur will help keep you from ingesting hair. We are hoping that is the fix...and prawns, of course! We continue to send White Dog Army woofs of healing energy and positivity.
GJ, we hope you keep eating and that you feel better soon! We're glad your mum and dad were able to help get rid of some of the furs and knots that were causing problems. We're sending lots of purrs your way!
We hope that fluff finds its way out as soon as possible! We are purring for you loudly GJ with paws crossed.
WE hope Dad can get rid of some of the floof so it will not make you sick!
We are so pleased to hear that you are feeling a bit better, sweetheart. We are praying very hard that you feel better and better each day. Thank goodness your mum and dad were able to shave you at home. Hair balls are really awful for kitties. They can even kill us! Mum gets really angry when she hears shoppers in the cat store say it's "only fir balls ".
We know your mum and dad brush you lots but you really have such a long, luxurious coat, its hard not to ingest some fur when you groom yourself ! Hope the sticky stuff works. ALL of our love to you. We love you like you are our own.
Fluffy, beautiful GJ. They say that beauty comes with its perils...
I'm really glad you are feeling better. Stay better now GJ...and eat your prawns, :)
Sending lotsaluv

Luna - WE LOVE LUNA
We hope the sticky stuff on your paws helps.
Just coming out of the problem with Arthur not eating, I am with your mom with all my heart ! Arthur does a liver/chicken cure, he doesn't eat anything else ! From Hill's ! I so much wish that you will eat again like a horse !
Big Smoocies from me! Me gets awful furballs, even though me has short fine hairs. Mommy gives me some cooking oil (she mixes it in my tuna) and that seems to help mes.
Still purraying!
Kisses
Nellie
Hope you will be ok.
Take care.
