Hello everyone I wanted to show you what they did last week. can you see my tummy .. Its all shaved. Mum said it had to be because it was all knotty and it will be better for me. Now its shaved it will be easier to keep short and also less fur to ingest. Dad says he is going to make my fur a little shorter all over even though it is not knotty because it will also stop me taking in too much fur when I groom. On a better note.. I ate half a sachet of food and I drank some cat milk.. Mum said this is fabulous and please keep it up Jasper...

That sounds like a good idea to have less fur to swallow when you groom, GJ. We are very happy you ate some fuds and drank some catmilk. Keep it up!
WE also think that is such a good idea to have less hair to put in your tummy. We are so glad to hear that you ate your food or at least some of it. We are still sending tons of purrs though, so you continue to get better. We want you all well please. Take care.

I don't think your tummy looks bad at all! Who sees the tummy anyway but your Mom, Dad, oh wait...WE do too! lol, but it still looks great!
We have to do that with our Sheltie because I am AWFUL about brushing him when I should. He gets mats occasionally and it is all my fault!

Glad to hear you are going better, GJ. Maybe come next spring, your beans can shave your fur down a little. If you allow it, you would probably find you like it. Cooler, and a whole lot less fur to eat.

Short hair is a good solution to getting knotty. Dad keeps Nuka's tummy fur clipped close, too, because she gets all matted and doesn't like being brushed.

Fluffy had to have her hair trimmed too, because of tangles, but it all came back all glossy and lovely, don't worry!
