Just waiting...

My neighbours shed roof is where all the birdies hang out. they tweet and squawk and torment me. Mum laughs and says I wont catch one because I make too much noise when I jump on the fences to get to them... So I decided if I went up there and kept very quiet and very still then maybe just maybe...
Watching and waiting....

Very still...

Mmmm no sign....

Dad's shouting me ... Next time next time...

Mum came home from nights and after a short sleep her and dad managed to take Mollie and Lilli bean to a local maze, called farmer Copley's. They had tried twice before and the weather thwarted them so they thought strike while they can. It was good and mum got some nice photo's, she will show you a couple tomorrow.

Mum will try and visit a few friends tonight and hopefully tomorrow when less tired. We do appreciate that you understand..

Love to you all. Hugs GJ xxx

We like birdies here too (the humans) and don't feel too happy if they are caught, but we like you so much GJ that we will cheer you on. You do look so determined there.

You are going to have to figure out how to hide on the roof so the birdies will come back

GJ, I hate to say it, but if I were a birdie and I saw you stern kitty face on that shed, I would not come around! I think you scared them off!

We think you'll get one GJ. Maybe if you balance a cat biscuit on your nose?

You've got a brilliant plan, GJ! Now just sit there often enough that those birdies think you are supposed to be there...and you'll have them! You ARE just going to TALK to them about the noise problem, right?

All that time hanging out on the roof with nothing to show for it. All in a day's work for a kitty.

Great strategy to get there ahead of the birds. Although when the birds saw the sheer determination on your face, they might have decided to stay away...

You need to be very quiet and still GJ - half close your eyes so they think you're asleep and then
a uick pounce should do it - in theory anyway!!
Glad your mum and dad got to the maze - we hope she took lots of pictures.
