The strange things that beans do.......

Hello everyone.. I don't know if you remember a few months ago when we asked for purrs and prayers to help find a young man called Ben Manning who was missing. Sadly Ben was found drowned a few days later. Ben's parents set up a charity in Ben's name to help young musicians. yesterday they had a fun day with a sponsored bungee jump. Tristan and Sue bean did the bungee jump and raised quite a bit of money..
Sheesh the strange things that the beans do....
The Ben Manning foundation..
Sue jumped first....
Tristan next......
Tristan Sue Mollie and Lilli....
Tristan and Sue were scared but found themselves really enjoying the experience.... As I said beans are strange.... But we are very proud of them...

My very lovely new blog design was done by our dear friend Ann what a gorgeous surprise when we saw it yesterday. Just gorgeous and we love it...

We remember Ben, GJ. Sadly, we can't prevent terrible things from occurring, but we *can* create some good out of sorrow and suffering, and that's truly amazing and wonderful.

Your new blog design looks fantastic; well done to Ann, as always!

A bungee jump is an interesting fundraiser. I've always "kind of" wanted to do it, but also afraid that I would get up there and chicken out. I am somewhat afraid of heights depending on the circumstance. But kudos to the brave beans who jumped!!

We remember Ben. It's nice that his parents are helping others in his memory although we think those beans are crazy! We're glad they had fun but still, we'll just stick to jumping off the couch!

We like your new blog look and love the heart on your cute nose!

What a sad story, but how wonderful that people are carrying on good works in his legacy. I'm not so sure that jumping off of a perfectly good bridge is smart, but hooray for those who did it!

It is wonderful that Beans can make some good out of a tragedy. Even though we think bungee jumping is, erm, crazypants! When we jump we either want a one way trip, up or down...

So sad for Ben, what a terrible tragedy. Our hearts go out to his family and friends.
Wow, what very brave little beans. Mummy said she would be frightened her ankles would snap off and she would hurtle straight into the water. If they didn't she would wet herself anyway hee hee. What a great cause, well done :)xx

What a wonderful thing Ben's parents are doing in their sons memory. Nothing can replace him but his memory will be carried on by those who were helped.

Our mum always wanted to try bungee jumping but is way too scared.

Love your new header. Those beautiful eyes and the little heart shaped freckle! So, so sweet! Love to you precious one.
