Can a mancat not go bug hunting in peace.....

There I was in the yard with dad and on patrol for bugs. I was minding my own business and I spotted mum with the flashy beast...
Oh oh here comes trouble....
Maybe she wont spot me...

Oh no she has seen me....

I had a word with dog as he usually has bugs crawling by..

Yes he had seen a spider this morning...

Is mum still there....

I asked frog ... Have you seen any bugs....

I asked Robin... have you seen any bugs.....
I will pretend she is not there...

Mum I am busy.......

Then on the neighbours roof... these appeared...

Mum said.... No Jasper .... Leave them alone....

Sheesh two of them and I was not allowed.. Mums....

Hope you all had a good day....

Love and hugs GJ xxxx

Hope you all had a good day.. Hugs GJ xxx

GJ, you will never get to catch anything with your human hanging around - doesn't she know that?!

GJ, we hope you at least found a bug or two. There are lots of bugs in our yard, and even more on our walks. Just don't pay any attention to the flashy beast - but we must say it sure gives us something handsome to look at.

GJ I just know that catching one of the yummy fevvers would help you get your appetite back...did you try that argument with your mom? Guilt is a fantastic thing sometimes :)

Well, better luck next time :)

argh! Moms and their Buggus Interrupticus! How are you supposed to get a snack in peace?
GJ, in your third photo you look just like our giant blue puffy garden cat! Oh, except that you're not blue.

GJ, you sure do manage to give your Mum "the look" with the camera! I hope you caught some good bugs in the end.

GJ, we think those cameras are permanently attached to mums. It's too bad your mum didn't let you visit your birdie friends closer. We just love the photos of your gorgeous green eyes and freckle nose. You really made us swoon!

What an adorable series of pictures! It seems like GJ is making friends with all the garden animals, as well as hunting for bugs!

It looks like he's kissing the stone woofie, the birdie and the frog -- he's an equal opportunity lover!

He's looking great!

We hope you found some bugs GJ, although we think the fevvers look much more interesting. That third photo is lovely where you are looking directly at the flashy beast and showing off your handsome face and lovely big round eyes.

Sounds like a lovely day outside! Too bad about not being allowed to chase the birds. I bet you would have gotten a nice fat one!

Looking handsome in your hunter mode!

Boy you sure have been busy bug hunting. Sorry you didn't find any. My Mom thought it was kind of neat your Mom having a pedicure with the fishies. I guess the little guys would tickle your feet.

Oh! My kitties love bug hunting as well! I always let moths in during the summer months so that they can stalk and hunt them. Our cats aren't as lucky as you are to get to be outdoors. Also, your mom and dad must brush you a lot, Jasper! Your coat is always STUNNING! xoxoxooxox
