Wildlife at Easter and updates.....

Hello everyone I thought I would show you a few pictures that mum's friend e -mailed to her. The little duck turned up in the next garden to mums friend, which was a complete surprise as they are not too near the water. Take a look at the near Easter surprise..

A Mummy duck was hiding .....

Some of these.....

Awwww...

After a while she led them off in the direction of a local park...

Mum's friend just hoped they all got there safely.. What a lovely surprise to find in the garden at Easter time....

Now to me. Yesterday I didn't eat so well. Not much at all in fact.Mum cooked me a chicken breast and I ate a little but not a lot else. This morning I have eaten a small amount of stinky goodness and mum hopes I will go back for some more. It seems as though, if dad picks me up and takes me to a dish I eat a little. They are so wondering if I forget. Forget where my food is or forget to eat. It is a worrying puzzle that we need to solve. Hugs GJ xx

( As mum types this for me, dad shouted to her that I am eating a little more )

Love to all GJ xx

GJ, you eat up for all of us, okay? Maybe your vet should give you some of Admiral's appetite pills for a little while if it would be better than steroids now.

Those ducklings are tooooo sweet! Mom loves how they are all patterned already. Lovely reminder of springtime and Easter.

You must try to eat more often GJ if you don't want very much each time. We can't think of anything to suggest that your mum and dad haven't tried already.
We loved Mother Duck and her ducklings - we hope they got to park safely.

GJ, I do so hope you get your appetite back and start eating more each day.If you like, I can send my "foodie" cat Rocky over to inspire you. He eats anything that doesn't eat him first!! P.S. Tell your Mom to come take my quiz on how to tell if she's a Crazy Cat Person -- I think I already know the answer, though!

when our bean brofur was small, our mum an' dad encouraged him to eat a bite. an' then, "here, just a bite." an' then, "here, just a little bite"--so eatin' became known as "eatin' bites". now, gj, eat a bite, won't you please?

those are sweet little ducklets, what a nice surprise!!

Loved the duck story....it reminded us of a mama duck that had her ducklings outside one of the banks in downtown San Antonio.....and how mama duck had difficulties getting the babies down from the lofty nest she had hatched them in.

When the employees of the bank saw the difficulty the ducklings were having, one of them went down and assisted......and then he led mama and and the ducklings several blocks to the San Antonio River where mama got them into the water......it was such a heartwarming story...we think mama should post it again.

Jasper, darling friend, please eat, please, please, PLEASE.....we love you and purraying for you.

Gosh those ducks are cute. That Mom duck looks like she was going to be very protective. I sure hope she and all eleven babies made it to a pond.
OK GJ glad to hear that you are eating a little bit. But you need to start eating more and more. Wonder if your mouth is still a little sore. Who knows. It is quite a mystery but it is time for that to be over now. Sending lots more purrs so that you will eat some more. Maybe put a dish of food in every room.

Maybe you could try those appetite stimulant tablets like Admiral Hestorb. Just in the short term. We wonder if something hurts you and keeps you from your food? Your mouth, your tummy? What is the vet saying?

That mum duck and the little ones are so adorable. We hope they get some help to get to the water.
