I have been getting lots of loving, chin and ear skritches and cuddles..

Mum and dad thought we had really turned a corner but it seems it was premature because I have not been eating at all well. I go to the dish if dad puts me there and sometimes I eat a small amount and then no more. Mum is beginning to despair as to what to do. They started me back on the medicine and will see if that helps. What on earth is wrong, we wish we knew.. One thing is certain we wont stop until we do find out . Love to all. GJ x

GJ, I heard the newscaster say that they did a survey of maybe 100,000 cats, and most of them said they prefer to be skritched behind the ear better than any other place.

Oh nos, GJ. We don't like to hear this news that you aren't eating. Someone needs to figure out why you aren't eating. Wish we could rush over there and get you going but it is kind of a long trip. My Easter wish for you is that you will eat some fuds for your Mom and Dad. They are sooo worried. My other wish is that they hurry up and find out what is bothering you so that they can make it all better. It saddens me that you aren't feeling well and that your Mom and Dad are sad. (((((hugs))))) Those are my Easter wishes and I am hoping they come true!
GJ, do you think you will need a feeding tube so they can feed you through that? We had to do that with one our cats that have liver problems.

GJ, I do agree with Sagira. One of my friend, Bryan. His mom had great success using a syringe to safe her kitten's life. Today, 1 1/2 year later her kitty is as active as ever. She said It wasn't pleasant, she fought the whole time, but she is still alive and healthy.

Happy Easter to you and your family! We are upset, dear ,that you are not eating! When our Gdad was stll alive, he made little balls out of meat paste and would toss then to our brother that would not eat. He would eat a few because it brought out his catly instinct for prey! Maybe this technique might interest you.
Have you taken appetite stimulant pills yet? You need to take them and ask your vet to keep looking for a cause. Maybe they can do some labs again and see if they notice, now, anything out of order.

Oh dear. We were wondering how things were going on your side of the pond. And we were hoping to read that your appetite has been getting better and better. Sigh. Well. Know we'll be saying extra prayers, making extra wishes on a star, and sending lots of "get hungry" vibes to you. Moma's been giving us salmon skin when she grills that yummy fish, and we're gonna promise you that everytime we taste it, we'll be thinking of you.
Please eat. And please give them some sort of sign so they can figure out what's going on. You are very important to us. We hope you know that.

Did your vet do a Complete Blood Chemistry on GJ? That test tells them a lot of things.
Also you might want to get a second opinon. We live across the street from a vets office. We only take our cats there for yearly shots. When our cats get sick though we take them clear across town because those vets are so much better. We are worried about you.It wouldn't hurt to give it a try. There are just some vets that are better than other vets. We know this from experince.
