A little bit of hiding...

Hello everyone, I am hiding in this picture behind the honeysuckle. I know that the dreaded basket means that I have to go back to the vet place and get stuck with needles again. Mum says it for my own good and will make me well again, Hmmm not sure about that. .. Now I have to report that today I ate around half a sachet of food and mum opened a pack of prawns which are my favourite .. You will remember that a week ago I would not even look at them. Well today I pawed at mum and meowed " don't forget me " I ate some, just a few but.. I ate some .. This is fabulous news. I just need to up the intake now I have eaten something. I am only weighing in at around 9 lb now so a lot to put back on to cover my bones. I know with all the support from my friends I can do it.. Thank you everyone. I so appreciate you all.. Very much... Love and hugs GJ xxx

GJ, our purr motors are still revving on high gear for you and your mum too.

It will sound kind of dumb, maybe, but the mom has taken your illness to heart, because a lot of your symptoms are reminiscent of what Annie went through, as is the lack of concrete diagnosis.

So she desperately wants you to get well...we guess because she and our vet couldn't make Annie well and she doesn't know why. So she doesn't want to see another kitty go through all of that for naught, if that makes any sense.

*Kitty kisses* to you and hugs to your mum and dad!

Oh our gosh! We found you again!!!!! We know we've been gone from blogland for a long time ... but we had no idea that you'd gone missing from our blogroll. Thank goodness we remembered a friend that you like to visit. We were pretty sure we could find you there.

So. Now. We have a lot of catching up to do. Like finding out ... HOW ARE YOU?????? We're off to read now, but wanted at least to leave a short note to let you know that we think about you all the time ... even if Moma doesn't do the best job helping us leave a mark so you know.

We'll be back. Please don't forget us!

Love
Jake and Fergi

OH! Some friends of ours, two Burmese kitties names Chloe and Cecil (they live between us and OurGirl) have talked their moma into expanding her blogging hobby (?) to include a blog for them. If you'd like to meet them, they are at http://pughysgingerfurball.blogspot.com/

Take care! And please take a deep deep sniff of that honeysuckle for Moma! She loves it!

OK. We've spent some time reading (while Moma ate chocolate. Very black chocolate. She says it's healthy and that she was sending "good eating" thoughts and wishes your way. We know she's just making excuses.)

We're caught up. And we're VERY relieved that you are eating a bit. And that you have the go ahead for some pokes that may help you want to eat more.

We know what a worry we four-leggeds can be for our families. And, then, it's like a virus. LOTS of families get the worries. (Especially, Moma, when we KNOW what's going on with our friends ... good or not) Anyways, we're glad to read that you seem to be doing a little better. And we're gonna do a better job trying to stay up to date. Because you are very important to us.

Prawns? Yummmm! Next time Moma fixes them we'll think of you! Even more than we already do!

Much love
Jake and Fergi

Can you feel the thunder of little cat feet? That's us doing the happy dance!! You're eating! Hurrah. You may be eating more slowly or less than usual but that is probably because you have not eaten in so many days that your tummy can't handle lots of food at once. Continued prayers and purrs and celebrations! Love you lots.
