Updates......

Hello everyone. Well we are in a bit of a limbo really. Mum called the vet this morning and was told by the nurse to please hold and I will go ask for the results. Back she came and said the vet was operating but she had asked her. The blood showed nothing major but she would ring and speak to mum at some stage of today to discuss what she thought. well mum waited all day and no phone call. It seems that the vet was tied up. Mum is hoping that the no major thing showing up is a good sign. I ate a little today but not a lot. Thank you so much to everyone for all your comments and we appreciate so much that you care. Mum will update as soon as we know anymore. Love and hugs GJ xx

Well, having negative test results would be good, GJ, but also a bit frustrating if there's no concrete diagnosis. Our mom has been down that road....We'll look forward to another update after your mum speaks directly to the vet.

And in the meantime, we'll keep purring!

No fun waiting at all. Mom says she understands just how your Mum and Dad are feeling right now. We hope that it is all good news and that the vet just didn't feel any sense of urgency in returning the call. Paws crossed for all to be well.

We are always dismayed when the vet tells us " nothing major" but yet something is obviously wrong. You mum and dad must be feeling very unsettled. We are too! Did the nurse say anything about further testing? If your labs are off, of course you'll have no appetite. Someone, yesterday, mentioned vitamin B12 shot. We've always had luck with them. More so than actual appetite stimulants. As we wait with you for a update from the vet remember that you are surrounded by a circle of love and prayer. We pray that you, your mum and dad hear good news when the vet calls. We love you, precious boy.

Oh dear! Beautiful and ever so adorable GJ!! Your poor mum and dad must be so worried!! I really appreciate that vets are very busy but a return call just to put your minds at rest would have been such a nice thing for them to do! I am so sorry that you have to wait one more night to get a full diagnosis. Please sweet GJ - try and eat some more, poor you! Me and Charlie are sending your a trillion million hugs and purrs and prayers. Take care you gorgeous sweet boy! xx

We will keep purring and waiting!

Has your Mom tried heating up your foods a bit? We don't know if you eat wet or dry, but heating up your wet helps the smell be stronger and you might want some then. Also, maybe try some other brands of food.

How frustrating waiting all day and not hearing back. It's a relief to hear that the bloodwork didn't show anything major, and I hope it means that the vet has an idea of what to do to help make you feel better. xoxo and keep us updated!

I wanted to make sure I came by to see what the results were! I'm keeping my paws crossed and purring hard that there is nothing seriously wrong and that you just want a different kind of food.

Love ya!

I hope "no news is good news". If the vet decides you need a special formula, try the dry. I know a kitty that ate that stuff for 12 years and learned to like it.

I am keeping my paws crossed that there is nothing serious going on, GJ! I wish these vets realized how stressed out our humans get when they don't hear from them!

Paws are crossed that there is nothing wrong with you, other than just being a little finicky! Our Mom definitely hates the 'not knowing' part of things, and sympathizes with your Mom. Take care!

Well, GJ and Mum, we like to think that since the vet didn't call back and since the tests seemed sort of okay, everything else will be all right, too.

Waiting like this can be such a bummer. In the meantime, try to do a little nibbling if you can.

And "The Boys" and I will stop back tomorrow to see how you are.

Purryers all around.
