Hello my friends....

Hello everyone, firstly I want to say thank you so much to everyone for all the good wishes for mum. Mum really appreciates them all and is sure they will help her recover. Mum is slowly recovering and dad and I are making sure she does as he is told and rests a lot. We will try to begin visiting with our friends as and when we can. Mum gets tired and finds it hard to concentrate, but that is she thinks from all the anaesthesia and pain meds. As the meds get reduced hopefully that will fade and normal life can be resumed. Mum has to be off work for quite a while and it may be a little longer than others because her job involves lifting people. It is hard to be inactive when you are used to being very active, but will be worth it in the end.
I am resting close by in case I am needed........
But I am also keeping a close eye on mum.....
Thank you everyone.... Love GJ xxx

You are such a little angel, dear Jasper. Just having you by her side helps your mum to feel better. That beautiful little face can brighten the dullest day!
Anesthesia can make people feel a bit muddled for a while. Our mum had a 4 hour surgery and felt muddled for about 2 weeks. Maybe it is not a bad thing because it helps the normally active mums deal with bed rest.
Give your mum kisses from us. Kisses to you and your dad too!
