My vet update and new favourite place to sit.....

Hello everyone.. Well yesterday they bundled me in that carrier again and I was taken to that awful vet place. I sang very loudly all the way there because last time they did all sorts of bad things to me. I clung to the back of my basket and they had to prise me out. The vet lady looked at my mouth and stuck that thermometer where it should not be stuck. The result was ..... Yesssss I am healing really well, no temperature and no sign of infection... I can stop the pain meds and no need to go back.. So thanks so much for all the good wishes, they worked... My furs are growing back nicely too and you can see ginger again...
Now to show you where I keep wanting to sit. As soon as mum sits down this is where I jump and I settle down there. ad has to keep lifting me off so as not to hurt mums neck, but back up I get mol..

This picture for some reason kept turning round when we uploaded it, but you get the idea...
I like it here... MOL....

What you doing mum....
Mum said she looks 90 in this picture and feels it too..
Dad got all the blue lights up and they look very pretty, not very clear pictures but you get the idea..

The reindeer and sleigh mum has wanted for a long time and his year got her wish, they look pretty. Just need a Santa now..

Thank you again my friends. We are reading your blogs when possible and will get to you soon.. With love GJ xxx

That is wonderful news, GJ. We are all so very happy that you are doing so well. But maybe you need to try out Mum's lap instead of her neck, it might even be more comfy.

Your decorations and lights are beautiful - especially the sleigh and reindeer.

We're glad you're doing well, GJ, and don't have to go back to the v-e-t.

Interesting spot you like to be on -- your mom's neck/back. We think that probably does hurt her, though!

Your lights look very festive; well done to your dad!

Yoor ChrisMouse lights are really beautiful BUT the best bit of today's post is knowing yoo are well again. PURRS. And we can see some ginger flofage growing back!

P'raps yoo should have a guessing contest as to when the ginger floofage will be completely back (as judged by yoor mom). Our guess is ... erm ... errr .... December 28th 2010.

Are you sitting there cuz your Mom has hot shoulders? We see your ginger fuzz appearing. Thank Cod you are on the road to recovery!

Your blue garden is quite magical. Daddy was gonna put up lights on our Catio, we'll see what happens.

That is good news GJ that your check up went well and you don't have to go back again. That is a good favourite spot. I (Flynn) like to sit on mum's shoulder when she is reading. She doesn't mind so much when I climb up from her lap, but it makes her yell when I jump up from the floor. She calls me her 'Shoulder Cat' (amongst other things.)
Your blue lights are very pretty.

GJ we are so excited that you are getting all better. You just need to push those furs out so you won't be cold. Good idea to sit on Mom's neck. Bet it is warm there.
GJ, Our mom is very upset because she took your Christmas card to the Post office, to the little lady in there and asked her how much it was to mail to you. So she gave her a stamp and guess what. The darn thing came back saying not enough postage. She said a bunch of norty words. We are so sorry but we will make up for it by sending you something later on. We are very sorry.

You and mum look WONDERFUL together! We are so glad that you are healing and do not need to go back. Cuddle on mum's neck but be VERY careful not to aggravate her condition. Finally, your yard looks lovely with all of its lights and displays.

So glad to hear that you received a good report from the vet and that your floof is starting to grow back.

I think you need your mom's neck to keep you warm.

Glad that you are healing quickly! We both still think you look quite striking (in a good way!) with your haircut! Beautiful lights, and Abby totally approves of your current perch; at night she sleeps on Mom's head or Dad's head (she bounces between them during the night so they both get the benefit of her large bottomed self on their heads!)!

For 90 your mom looks really great ! My 94 year old neighbor is living in his house, has a 72 year old girlfriend, drives his car and is a very funny man. So being 90 is a good feeling, lol !
But you should change your profile from "very hairy" to "very naked" poor GJ ! but honnestly you look so cute !
Your Xmas decoration is beautiful !

We are overjoyed to head you are healing well and don't have to go back to the v-e-t. And we do see some gorgeous ginger shading on your sweet pink skin! We do! We thank God and continue to keep you in our prayers.
Sitting on mums shoulders puts you at eye level with her and makes you feel secure. Now, if only she had a dressing gown that had a hood! You could stay nice and warm too.
Magical is the word for your garden, sweet love, just magical. We love the reindeer and sleigh! It must mean that Santa is in your house right now, slashing away gifts for the big day. Hurrah!

Hi GJ! Wow we are so glad that your vet visit went well and that you are healing up good! And we are also glad your furs are growing back!

And we think that looks like a great place to sit or lay down, but we can see why your dad would need to get you down, with your mom's neck problems and stuff. But we bet your warmth kinda helps it feel a bit better too.

And we love your blue lights - we have blue lights in our back area and think yours look so cool! Mom said that the long ones in the first picture (she can't tell what they are but they look like light sabers - whaveter those are) are so cool and she would love to have some like that! And the reindeer and sleigh are just awesome - we don't have room for anything that big but oh it looks so great at your house (We are totally jealous!)
