Ponies and pixies....

Dartmoor is famous for the ponies that live free there. Mum was thrilled to be able to see lots of them, here are a few..
This little one was so cute and followed mum and dad around, he had his head in mums pocked at one stage and mum was upset she had nothing for him, but dad said the notices say don't feed the ponies..
They were very friendly....
What a lovely sight...
Grazing away...
So calm and peaceful...
This one was shy and peeped at mum and dad....
The little cutie again....
The little one saw this gorgeous white one and whinnied and ran to meet.. Could it have been related....
More close up bliss......
Now a little fun. There was a shop and gardens that was full of elves and pixies, it was all run to help make sure the ponies were OK. Mum and dad bought some goodies to help and they took some fun pictures. Flat me posed as well... A gorgeous tree stump full of fungi...
I made a wish...
There was hundreds of these...
A huge toadstool.....
Dad wearing a silly hat....
Mum did too....
Hope you enjoyed a little look at the ponies....
Now another apology, but if I tell you mum went to work at 2.00, was out on calls none stop until 8.45, was back in the office for just 30 Min's before getting called again then home at 11.35. Called three times between 2.30 and 6.30. Perhaps it will explain a little why mum is pooped out and may not get to everyone.. We will try and read as many as possible.. Take care everyone.. With love GJ xxxx

We went to Dartmoor too, unfortunately the fog was like pea soup so no ponies to be seen and we drove real slow.

Thanks so much for sharing the fabulous pics!!!!!!!!!

The ponies are cute! That little one acted like he wanted to come home with your Mom and Dad! We are not sure what your Mom does, but it must be important. We know getting called out so much makes her very tired!

Oh, we love the pony photos and flat GJ's too.

Your mom needs rest more than she needs to worry about visiting after a day/night like that. We hope she gets some rest.

What cute little ponies!

I understand about your mom being busy. Mine has been on the road entirely too much lately.

Those are sweet pictures of the ponies. We are glad you didn't try sitting on them though GJ because they soon bite if they think you have food. BTW feeding is prohibited because it encourages them onto the road and they sometimes get run over. Did your mum and dad see the pixies at Pixies Holt, Dartmeet? Our mum and dad pass there every time they go to Widecombe in the Moor.

Those sure are fun pictures for our Mom to see. She used to raise welsh ponies but she did have a Dartmoor pony at one time. They are very nice ponies but it is so much fun seeing them in their own country. Thanks so much for sharing the pictures. Flat GJ, so glad you got to be with the pixies too. That was a great post.Have a great week coming

Your mum and dad look so happy posing with the ponies. Their happiness just radiates from the photos. Aren't the ponys so dear!
And don't they just know who are the gentle hearts. We love the pic of you with the tree stump and fungi. Quite magical looking.
Your poor mum. As soon as she gets a bit of vacation, her job tries to take it away from her. We are thankful that she is so dedicated because the person in need could easily be us.
