A day out......

Mum got a day off before her run of early shifts, dad and her went to Temple Newsam which is just a few miles from us. They like it there because they can walk in lovely surroundings and it is so serene. Here are some pictures for you . They are all mixed up but you get the idea.

The tree's are gorgeous..

There are always lots of woofies enjoing the walks..

Mum is daft and superstitious and only likes to see magpies in more than one's. They are rather handsom birds..

When mum was small they used to blow the white seeds from these and pretend to tell the time..

They see these little imps all the time..( mum likes them )

This spotty woofie was a cutie and came to say hello..

These two shared the same flower..

More trees...

There is a special garden for chrisanthamums and each year they are lovely..

The flutterbyes love the flowers...

So do lots of other buzzies.. I wish I could have gone...

The garden is walled and very pretty...

Dad loves this tree.....
This woofie left p mail every few yards...

The birds had their very own lollies to eat....

Mum loves that the staff did this and put fresh flowers there all the time....

Mum loves this picture....

Hope you liked the little tour of mum and dads

Wow what a beautiful place to visit! And the animals there were so cute (though we admit we haven't any clue about the magpie superstition - luckily that is what google is for so we will have to check it out). It is nice that your mom and dad got to go visit there before she has to start her early shifts!

And look at the fabulous photos!

Me and Charlie especially love the beautiful butterflies and bees - we are so happy to see them!! And those chrysanthemums are just stunning!!! And the trees - those wonderful willow trees - fantastic!

Ooh now how does that magpie rhyme go? Oooh about seeing all three in a row or something - oh but they are beautiful birds aren't they? They have the glossiest wings and are very very cheeky!!

And we are with mum- we love the squirrels - they are such characters!

What a pretty place to visit! Aren't you just a little bit jealous, Jasper, that so many dogs get to be there, and you can't go?

The flowers are lovely, still so colourful.
We hope you saluted Mr. Magpie and said, "Good morning Mr. Magpie. How is your lady wife today."
Silly us, of course there were two there so you didn't need to do it.

Gorgeous! Gorgeous! Gorgeous! There isn't a better way to start our day than with your beautiful face and a leisurely stroll through a wonderful garden. And what a garden it is,heavenly! Mum lingered over every photo and we could here her sigh longingly. We all loved the little memorial to the garden cat. So touching. We cats are so frequently unappreciated. We would love to be able to place a flower.
Thank you, dearest boy, for sharing this amazing place with us.
