The flowers are growing.....

Hello everyone. A few weeks ago I showed you the baskets and tubs, Well look how they are growing. Everything is coming up lovely. We just have a yard, but mum fills it with lots of hanging baskets and pots and tubs. It is looking really nice now. Mum calls it her little haven.

Look at this...

Look strawberries too....
I have just showed you a little, isn't it pretty.. We have two climbers too. One is flowering and the honeysuckle is in bud now.
Mum has lots and lots of solar lights, so at night it is like a fairy grotto. Mum got some new butterflies and dragonflies today. Dad says enough..MOL .. But I think he humours mum..She has been trying to capture the garden at night all lit up but it is difficult. Hopefully I can show you soon......
Take care... Love GJ xx

GJ, your Mom's flowers look so good. Our Mom loves flowers too and does a lot of pots because our soil is too hard to dig. We have some strawberries too and have gotten one or two strawberries. It is great fun. We have some blueberry bushes that are loaded with blueberries right now.
You have a fantastic week end GJ.

GJ,
Mommy says your Mom's basket area is like a fairy garden! What a wonderful place to sit and think, have a glass of wine.

We would enjoy resting in those comfy looking chairs...and look! Your Cat grass is up! Yummy.

Everything is looking beautiful GJ - our mum just plasted her containers for the summer - would you believe!
She loves container gardening and thinks it can look really effective as your mum demonstrates with all those lovely hanging basket and tubs.
They are a lot of hard work though!
Sometimes they do well until she goes on holiday and then comes back to very sad hanging baskets!
Any tips welcome.

We would love to visit your garden - our Mom has a lot of twinkly solar lights too and she keeps the clear Christmas lights around the porch all year - in the summer she calls them her Luau lights. You would be surprised how much light they produce.

Have a great weekend.

What a beautiful garden youi mum has.

Our mum says that to get a good picture of the garden at night your mum needs to use the night landscape setting (skyscraper with a moon) on her camera if she has one. That's the setting she used for our Lola picture today

That is so pretty. We don't have anything green around our house because mom always forgets to water and kills them.

Oh GJ!!! Your mum is a super duper green fingered wonderful mum!! Me and Charlie love what she has done to brighten up concrete and brick! We love all the different hanging baskets (the watering can is brill!) and the sweet and quirky knickknacks - that black cat climbing the wall is fab!!!!

Ooh you must tell your dad that you and your mum and your garden can never have too many butterflies and dragonflies! :-)

Can't wait for the strawberries! Lovely!

What a beautiful and inviting garden your mum has made for you, dear Ginger Jasper! It would be so wonderful be able to take ones cup of early morning tea or coffee and sit outside when the air is fresh and new and be surrounded by beautiful flowers. How could a day's start be any better? Strawberry plants in bloom are, we think, one of the most cheerful sights ever.
Just keep watch so those nasty birdies don't get your berries!
Love to you.

You have a very pretty garden there, GJ! Your human must have a talent for gardening. If this were left up to my human, all those pretty plants and flowers would be brown and sad.

That is fantastic! My Mom has a toxic thumb - I think she can kill plastic plants! So I'm always jealous when I see pretty gardens like that!

Wow, I remember when your mum just planted, it all grew a lot ! I am back from Morocco and it was a real interesting trip through the imperial cities and then resting in Marrakech in a very nice hotel.
All cities were full of cats ! Apparently Mohamed loved cats, but nobody thinks about sterilizing them, so there are kittens and kittens it's a real misery. Only the strong once can survive. But it seemed to me that people are feeding them at least !
