I asked mum ... why do we have all this cold white stuff...
I whispered in dads ear and said dad why do we have all this cold white stuff..
They both said Jasper its just the weather and the way it has to be. We can not do anything about it and just have to wait until it goes. I don't like it and wish I could send it to my friends across the pond... They like it... Mum's work got around part of the problem by loaning a four wheel drive so mum and her colleagues can still go out to people.. Mum was out and said it is still difficult, especially at 5.30 this morning on a call out. The roads were slippy and scary.. Hurry up and go... white stuff we don't like you..

The white stuff is bad in areas they are not used to it. Mom tell us it's dangerous sometimes. Please tell your mom to be careful! BTW, did you get our card with the special ingredient?

We liked it the first day when it was soft and fluffy. We don't like it now it has gone crisp and slippery. We wish it would go away. Our lane is only accessible by 4WD or tractors, more because of the very thick ice rather than the snow. Mum said it is a good job the freezer is well stocked and we have lots of Stinky Goodness. She is getting low on milk so she is putting Baileys in her coffee instead. Ha! Any excuse!
Tell your mum to be careful and keep safe.
Don't send any of that white stuff to us, our Mommy wouldn't be happy! MOL We don't get it here much so we don't like it either. We hope you all stay safe and warm!

I think it's called glow ball worming or something like that. The balls of white stuff glow when they are de-wormed?
It's very confusing...and very cold here in Floridah for like WEEKS!
We normally have one or 2 cold days, and once every 7 years or so we get a freeze one night...but not 2 weeks in a row. SHE's had the heat on since before Christmas and we never turn on the heat. Wasn't even sure it would work. The farmers are having a ruff time trying to keep the berrys, corn, tomatos and oranges alive.
I hope yer Mom bundles up when she goes out on the road in the slippy stuff and carries a blankie and provisions in the car incase she slides off the road.

We're due to get some of the shite stuff tonight. This weather really is out of control this year. They're calling it "The Artic Assault". That's because the WHOLE country is in a deep freeze.
