Snow stops visit........

>
Hello every friend... Today was mum's first day off and they were going down to see new great grand bean Nicholas. The weather had other ideas.. It snowed heavily all night and most of today. It was the worst weather in the UK for 63 years. There was no way that mum and dad were going anywhere and they were very disappointed.Mum has a sad face but safety must come first and having watched the news it was so good they didn't try to go.
I am glad too...
The car first thing and it got much worse.

A small pause in the snow..

The kids had fun...
Poor Robin almost got buried...
But mum got a text that made her smile, it said.... here comes Santa, and this is what came.. Jade had dressed Nicholas in this suite so mum could have a photo. How cute does he look..

Hope the weather gets better for mums next day off then she can try again. Take care and keep warm everyone.. Love GJ xx

That is too bad for Mum and Dad - we know how much she was waiting for today to come. But yes, safety first. Little Nicholas was a great present from St. Nick - how adorable he is in that pic.

Bet you are happy to have Mum home with you, GJ.

That really is a lot of snow, Jasper! Maybe you should pick up a shovel and start clearing it:)

Sorry your mum didn't get to go see the grandbean, but look at all that snow! More cuddles for you, too, GJ.

Yes, it sounds like staying home was definitely the safer option. We've been told to expect snow here in France over the next few days. Don't send too much over, though, will you?!

Safety first, yes. I'm sure you comforted mom, because she couldn't go. What a baby photo.

The santa picture is so cute it's beyond words.

We too are having a harder winter then usually. Our winters can be bad but they haven't for several years. This year we got snow in October and two blizzards in December.

Now we are looking at another storm for Wed and Thursday and are temps are barley getting about zero.

Brrrr. I'm moving south.

We are sorry your mum couldn't get to visit great grandbean, but there is always another day. It's not worth taking the risk. Even we had more snow this morning and we have more forecast for tonight. It is still very icy in our country lane and not many cars have been able to use it.We wish summer would hurry up.

Dearest Jasper and mommy carol! We are so delighted that you won the funny cute vest we offered! Please do not concern yourselves with postage...it is my treat. I saw that you are offering to pay for postage for the kitty you donated...this is such a sweet way to pay it forward and we love you for it. We will pachage up the vest and send it along across the pond sometime this week weather purrrrmitting of course...so Lapdaddy can get to the post office. We have had some snow here in the desert too. Nothing like yours however. So sorry that you can not go and visit the new baby bean....how precious he looks in his tiny Santa suit. You must be busting buttons with pride and so eager to hold him!
Please know how much we love you and treasure your friendship...

What a precious little baby bean! SQUEE!!!

Safety must come first and we are glad your mum decided not to go. Here in Chicago we plan everything with "depending on the weather".

Too bad your mum couldn't go out to meet the new great grand bean. But at least she had time to spend some time with you. Oh, and we think the logo on her car looks a bit like you.

That's the cutest little Santa I have ever seen, lol! I can imagine that your mom was so disappointed. I am waiting to become a grandma, lol ! Hope it "works" this year ! We too had a lot of snow and the whole traffic broke down, now they are a little better organized and it hasn't snowed since a few days. But it is very very cold - 10°C this morning ! Arthur sits now on the radiator ! He said I should give you this tip, if not on then under !

It's really bad here in Maidenhead. We keep losing TV and internet! Silly that our country gets this way isn't it?

Wonderful picture of the great grand bean!

What a lovely santa baby pic - that should melt the snow!
Your mum and dad are right to stay safe.
Our mum's car slid and hit a concrete pillar today when she was at work.
It was lucky as it was just the car that went 'ouch'.
It really is very tricky out there and best stay home - take care.
