I miss my friend so much. I will miss our yearly trips to stay with them. I will miss Ivor scaring me driving down those narrow lanes. I will miss watching all the birds in bird mansion. ( the hedge outside the window). Our many car rides from one end of Devon to the other. Cornwall. We visited so many places together as a foursome. Even in the last couple years when Jackie wasn’t up to going far we were all just happy staying close to home in their lovely surroundings and chatting. Ivor is as you can imagine broken. He says the loneliness is the worst. I know how much comfort he is taking from all your cards, letters and comments. Thank you everyone. Rest easy now my lovely friend. You will always be remembered. Back with your boys in your arms. X

I can only imagine how Ivor feels since so many of us who never met Jackie feel lots without her presence. I still miss your GJ and think of him quite often.
Dear Carol and Barrie ... it was so lovely to once-upon-a-time "meet the both of you" in purr-son. And somehow, over the years I almost felt as though I had met Jackie & Ivor in "purr-son", too ... though that had never happened!!! Though I certainly wish it had ... I hope with the magic of time, Ivor's thoughts and memories will only be the good and happy ones. That is also my hope for you. All of you shared so very much, such beautiful and happy times together, let those be the times you hold close. I will certainly remember this beautiful lady, with a smile in my heart ... always.
