Hello from a stranger

It’s been so long since I blogged that I had almost forgotten how to. I loved my blog so much and when We lost Our beautiful Ginger Jasper I blogged  less and less. It seemed that everyone was on FB and we kept in touch that way. Today for some reason I was reflecting on things and felt impelled to visit the blog. Hence this post. I have just sat and read all the previous blog posts and there are many and remembered all the wonderful encounters with so many blog friends. What wonderful experiences and what wonderful friends made along the way. We are none of us getting any younger and so many have left us for the bridge. I just wanted to say hello. In these uncertain times take care everyone. Sending love to all.

I leave you with two photos of my grand kitty Bella. A beautiful stray rescued by my son and daughter in law and much loved.

How lovely to see a post from you! I deleted my FB account a few years ago, am only on Instagram (fuzzy_tales) and on my personal blog (occasionally), so am out of touch with so many I "knew" from the days I was blogging for angels Annie and Nicki (it's only Derry and I now). Sometimes I see a cat that reminds of GJ and s/he will make me smile. It's always bittersweet to be reminded of those who have passed to the Bridge.

Do take care; stay safe and stay well.

Oh Bella is gorgeous, thank you for sharing your grand kitty with us. We miss you. (Hugs) Mom doesn't help us with our blogging as much as she used too, and she says it's different then it was in the early days when she first sat down and started cat blogging. So many of our friends have left for the rainbow bridge and Mom says so many of the original ATCAD (although it would have been just ATC in the beginning as there were no dogs in the original blog) have gone that sometimes it makes her sad to blog. Mom and Scylla are the only two original bloggers from our blog, the rest of us are newbies.

Your kindness and thoughtfulness when Charybdis died will always be remembered and your friendship is greatly treasured.

Bella is so beautiful, she's breathtaking.

Losing a pet is an awful experience. I know this from personal experience. I lost a Persian cat many years ago to an enlarged heart and PKD, and it was an absolute nightmare, but now I have three feral cats. It's always good to take in stray cats and give them a loving home.

Don't know why I looked here today but there was the link and I remember Ginger Jasper so fondly and miss your fun posts. I too have lost my kitties - Max and Tuck - and miss them so much. I'm trying to catch up on the travelling I couldn't do while working and expect to adopt two when I'm back at home except for brief excursions. Yes, definitely getting older and slower...
Your grandkitty is gorgeous. I hope you get to see her and grandchildren often!
Have a Happy Christmas and New Year,
Lizzie

I see I left a comment in Dec 2022. I'm here today because of a reference in Eric and Flynn's blog. Still remember you and miss Ginger Jasper. Hope your family survived COVID and are doing well.
