I think I have told you before that I was once in the British Army serving as a nurse. Yesterday I got a package in the post in my maiden name. My veterans badge.
I am proud to have served in the army...

Is the badge meant to be worn on Remembrance Day only, or can it be worn at other times? Just curious!

My mum ( Gran) was a nurse in WW
II and wanted to nurse combat
wounded. Instead she got an
assignment nursing officer's wives.
Needless to say, she didn't re-up.
