Renal failure is a sad journey sometimes long and sometimes short.
My Mr. Sunshine survived for five years after being told he would die and was on his very last legs. There were good days and bad.Happy and grateful times, days filled with sadness.
I still miss him but treasure the memories of being with him through his last years. I was lucky to have him for 21 years.
