Down the street were my vet is there is a solicitor's office. Mum and dad were walking down and saw this tree which was absolutely full of beautiful flutterby's. They were everywhere. Since this is right in the centre of town it was lovely to see and everyone was stopping to look.
When they walked down the street the week later the tree was cut right down. It looked awful and they could not understand why..
Mum says I am the prettiest of all..
Love and hugs to all my friends.. GJ xx

They cut down the Butterfly Bush?? WHY!! What a shame. That sure was a butterfly magnet and I imagine lots of people enjoyed seeing all those butterflies on it. Maybe they were allergic to beautiful things.
BTW, I think the plant is actually a Butterfly Bush -- which as you can see, is aptly named! I had several of the bushes in my garden in California.
What a shame to chop down that lovely tree, especially as it attracted the butterflies.
That's too bad they cut down the tree where those pretty butterflies hung out. Hope they have somewhere else to hang out!
Lovely to look at Ginger J.
Yvonne.
Humans! Why do they do such stupid things like cutting down butterfly bushes? I'll never understand it.
That is tragic that it was cut down. The butterflies are gorgeous. And you too GJ.
Cut down!?!? Awwwww! :-( But what about the flutterbyes??! :-(
Gorgeous GJ!! OF COURSE you are the prettiest and most floofiest too! Yay! Take care

Those flutters are good looking but we all agree at the Tomcat Home that you are prettiest of all! Fur Sure
Timmy and the Tomcat Family
We agree with your Mum!
They could have waited until the blooms were done. It still looked like the butterflies were using it!
We think you are most handsome by far too :)

Yes we agree with your mum. You are by far the prettiest one. We have never seen a butterfly bush in Singapore but we will try to see if we can get it here as well.
Maybe they were afraid of bees. Maybe they were just mean. Or stoopid. Anyway, we think your mum is right: you are the prettiest! xxoo Patty & BHu
Yep, you got the looks GJ! Love ya!!!
Why would anyone cut down a tree that attracts such beautiful butterflies! We agree with your mom, you are the prettiest, GJ!
Hi, Ginger Jasper! It is so nice to meet you. Thank you so much for wanting to go to Sarge's Date Day with me and Madi. I am so looking forward to it! Would you please send me a picture to use in the post about our date? Or, I could steal one off your blog, whichever you prefer.
What? They cut down that beauty-us flower bush, a butterfly bush no less. No wonder it had all those pretty butterflies on it. Boo Hiss to the purrson who did that.
Those are some of the prettiest butterflies we've ever seen! And we can't believe someone cut down the bush. That's just sad.
How beautiful. Especially the picture of GJ
Darling GJ, of COURSE we kitties are the prettiest of all! Really, other animals don't stand a chance. XOXOXO
Who would murder such a lovely tree that gave so many butterflies a place to gather? Beauty lost forever.
Mum is right, GJ your are the prettiest of all!
Oh Ginger Jasper, those are such pretty butterflies. What a shame that they cut down that bush or tree. Glad the Mum got so many good pictures. Take care.
We had one of those butterflies in our garden a couple of weeks ago and someone commented that it is a Peacock Butterfly. (Hannah and Lucy had to be gated until it had rested and then flitted off again!!)
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
oh my how exquisite!!!! Is it my imagination but are butterflies more beautiful lately? I am seeing more and more different types than what I remember seeing before. Thanks for sharing!
xoxo
GJ you sure are the prettiest. Aww they cut down the tree?? So sad. Those are wonderful photos of the butterflies. I love seeing butterflies.

Why would someone destroy such beauty. At lease we got to see your handsome self!
Who would cut down such a lovely tree! No respect for anything these days!!!
We heard that the beautiful flutterbys were looking for a magnificent golden-ginger boy who shares some of their fantastic coloration. They were anxious to meet him and be photographed with him but they spent too much time at the flowering tree. What an exquisite photo that would have been! Yes, Jasper darling, you are the mostest beautiful. We love you, dear; more than you know!
Who would remove something of such beauty? How very sad. But you mum is right…you are the prettiest of all, G.J. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Mauricio, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
