A beautiful village..................

Hello everyone. I wanted to show you this gorgeous village mum and dad visited while they were away. The village is called Cockington and has lovely thatched cottages.. Really pretty ...They checked it out along with flat me..

They came across this gorgeous little church, it was very old and so lovely...

Inside there were lots of very beautiful things..

Check out this window.....

Behind every seat was a very beautiful hand stitched kneeling cushion...

So lovely....

All the villages must have their own...

Hope you enjoyed the little tour and hope you are not fed up with the pictures...

Never fed up with your pictures, they are great! Love the kneeling cushions, how wonderful and I am crazy for thatched rooftops.

I was in the village of Bosham this past April (near Chichester) and the thatching was decoratively carved!!! I took so many pictures of roofs people asked where where the shots of my family - LOL

We love all your photos! We think Mom must have been English in a past life or something, because her heart skips a beat and swells everytime she thinks about, sees photos, hears a British accent (sees Yorkie Bars, black current juice, custard cream...) We think you get the picture.

Thank you for making our Mom so happy!

We would never get fed up with your photos. Our mum and dad used to go there and places like that a million years ago when they were young. They didn't go away for holidays then, they used to go on day trips. They haven't been there for many years but mum says it looks just as beautiful as she remembers.

This looks like such a lovely place to visit. The mom and dad here would like to get to England but when they travel they head to Italy to visit their daughter. Love the photos! Nice they took flat you with them. I must get one for my folks. Where do you find one??

Oh dear Ginger Jasper. Thank you for the wonderful photos of this beautiful, magical village. Mum started to tear up looking at the gorgeous cottages. One of her dreams, you know, that will never come true. But she still likes to dream! The little church is so lovely. Imagine what it must be like to have that sense belonging. (If there were custom pads in our town, someone would surely pinch them.)
