This little one was in Mdina and sat on his doorstep watching me..
I so watched this fella for so long and he let me scritch him while he was lazing in his sun puddle...
When he rolled over and did this we both melted and you can imagine what we were thinking cant you..
These were the fabulous streets of Mdina...
Look how narrow they where and so full of old world charm...
The next Kitties were in Valletta which we so loved..
This is a fishing community which is either not used in winter or abandoned. Right on the water edge.
Barrie spotted this one watching us taking photo's..
He was so interested in what we were doing..
This one said hi what are you up to with your flashy boxes...
He watched for a while..
This one never woke but just snoozed on...
After watching us he decided to have a bath..
So relaxed and we didn't faze him at all, in fact all were so not worried about us..
Barrie spotted this little girl or maybe she spotted him..
Another sleepy head..
I got a turn at petting...
Cute nose...
This one seemed to say hey did you see me...
I nearly missed this little one..
All the shacks were probably where they slept in bad weather..
I thought they were all healthy looking and looked well fed and too relaxed around people to be totally feral. I was told later that the cats around Malta do get fed and I believe there is a TNR program too.
Now this is Meow who wondered into a aviation museum and found himself a wonderful forever home, he has a warm sofa bed to sleep on, plenty of food and lots of attention. The visitors love him too and he loves them. What a love bug he is..
He just loves people.. Was happy to pose too.
There was a ginger there that came to stay and also found a good home but he didn't want to come out and preferred to stay away from visitors so no pictures.
This is Watson who also got a home there, he mobbed me and just loved a fuss. He was fastened up and I asked about that and was assured that it was only while he was at the front of the hut and so that he didn't run under a vehicle while they were busy. I could see how happy he was and that he was also a love bug.
We took lots of pictures in Malta of the lovely old buildings ETC and will show you some later. I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the kitties we saw.
Back to the grindstone tomorrow with late shifts all weekend.
Take care everyone. Hugs Carol xx
