A day in my life.....

A while ago a gentleman from publicity came out to accompany me on a work day.My work can be very varied and one day I can be out all day or night depending on shift and be helping people who have fallen or in need of some care. Another I can be hopping from place to place helping in other ways or sorting out a alarm to be installed or mended or supplying other equipment or sensors. Here is a little look at this springs news letter were I am featured.

Hope you enjoyed a little look at me at work.. Hugs to all  Carol x

We would think it would be a very mentally and emotionally draining job, Carol (physically sometimes too), but yet quite rewarding. At least you know you help people, and that counts for a lot.

Purrs and peace.

Wow, That is a really good job. We should have something like that here as there are more and more people here who would need such help. The people are lucky to have you.

That's a wonderful feature on you! It must be rewarding being able to help so many people and it's lovely to be recognized for it too!

You deserve to be featured with the long hours and hard work you devote to so many! It was interesting to get a glimpse at the services you provide to those in need...your system is so different from that in the US. We can understand how you would be exhausted by the time you finish your shift...and could strain your own body in providing assistance to others. Thanks for sharing...and for your generously kind words about our momma's radio interview!

That is such a great write up about you. No wonder you get tired. That does sound like a hard job. You just never know what is going to be next. And what a great thing to do to help all those people. Well done. Take care.

THAT was very interesting. Very much so. I always wondered how some of the agencies work and this was a good look. I don't think we have anything in this Country like that. They have alarms but they people who answer just call police or ambulance or family as far as I know. Yours is a much better organization. xox

TBT here: Such recognition is both rare and well-deserved. Heck, MY boss actually cried the day I retired and *I* never got an article written about me.

Print it, frame it, hang it, and BE PROUD!

Wow, what a nice appreciation ! Your job must be very interesting but also physically very hard. It is so nice to have contact to all kind of people who are in need.
Not yet ready for another little cat ? My friends in Eastbourne had sworn to never take a cat again, after the last one died. What happened ? Slowly, slowly a little cat appeared, from time to time, then daily and then came inside the house, and decided to move in ! They had no choice, the cat is so cute and now she has a forever home and sleeps on all beds ! Of course they are very happy !
