Oh poor Dad !!!!!!!

When mum first met dad she had me and my sister Dolly cat. Dad said I am not really a cat person. Of course mum said love me love my cats. we used to come stay at weekends and travelled in our baskets every Friday night. Dad was quite surprised how clean we were and how we were just shown were the litter box was and hey presto we used it.
Dollycat went to the bridge before mum and dad got married and we still miss her. Mum and I moved in here to our home and I have for the last five years been working on dad. He pretends that he is still not a cat person but in reality loves me and says he hasn't seen a cat like me.
Dad was very ill a couple of years ago and I kept him company a lot when mum was at work.we got quite close. My favourite trick is to go up to dad and paw him until he puts his legs out, I then sit on his legs and he lifts me up and down. I go for a ride every night.

The ultimate was when dad said last night, let me look at this blog that keeps you so busy. Then dad remarked why are there no pictures of me with Jasper. There are pictures with everyone but not me. I think dad felt left out, so here are a few.

I think it is only fair really as dad takes lots of pictures of me for mum.

Hello everyone,

Mum has been at work on the early shift today and then tried to tidy the yard of old plants ready for putting in new. I was up snoopervising and right near where I was lying yesterday mum cleared out a hanging basket. guess what she pulled out !!! A birds egg.!!! Mum was upset that she broke it, but couldn't believe that a bird would nest in a basket at eye height to me. But how did it get there. A mystery.

Mum says she hopes you not fed up with all the pics of me, but a few more from yesterday as dad took loads.

Well after having really cold weather for a few days, today turned out lovely. Cold but lovely.
I decided to check out my garage roof because I haven't been up there for a while.Hey the climbers growing again, and there are some really good bird smells up there too.

Then just when I settled down to catch a few rays, I heard mum shout to dad quick capture this and yes..,, you guessed it, out came the flashy box. Take a look at the results.....

Clever pusscat

When mum was in Thailand last year she fed a little cat that lived in the hotel grounds. It really didn.t need a lot as she found out its secret. Every day they fed the price fish. The little cat waited till their back was turned and caught herself a little prize fish.

Visits from the beans

Hello everyone, we had a visit from the beans last evening.I like my beans to visit cause I like to play with them. But mostly they were playing on mums lap top. Fancy doing that when they could be playing with lovely old furry me. Lilli bean did tickle my ears, check out the photo.

Mothers Day

Hello everyone, today is mothers day. Happy mothers day !!!!!

It is a bitter sweet day today. Mum is happy that it is mothers day but very sad as her mum died in November and is not here for mothers day.Also on this date three years ago grandad died too. I think the first of every occasion is sad and I hope it does get better. M.um had leaky eyes quite a bit today

The lovely Ann at zoolatry did us a beautiful memory picture, mum dad, grandma and grandad, with me looking down at them. So very beautiful. Mum and dad took a lovely miniature rose bush to the crematorium and tucked a small copy of the picture into its leaves. The large picture is in a frame.

Mums trip

Mum went to London to visit with her friend Natasha. They saw a show Carousel which they enjoyed although so different to what was expected.
The next day Natasha said she has always wanted to visit London zoo, this is what they did. Mum said there was some really cute animals, so here are a few.
There was even a bonus of a little robin which sat beside them for quite a while. ( grandma loved robins )

Mum said they were not as cute as me though. so that's OK.

Hello everyone,

Mum is going to the big smoke ( London ) she is going this morning and meeting with her friend Natasha, they are going to a show and then seeing sights tomorrow.
